The First Persecution of the Church

The proclamation of the truth of the gospel will attract true believers, and in the same way, will attract opposition. To preach Jesus as the Messiah and Savior lead to the arrest, imprisonment, and interrogation of Peter and John, which in turn provided the opportunity for explaining with bold assurance the identity and the significance of Jesus.
