Encouragement

This chapter says more about the growth of the Gentile ministry. The church in Antioch highlights the extent to which that was due to Barnabas and Saul. Barnabas was sent by the church in Jerusalem to observe what was happening and to strengthen these new believers in their commitment to Christ. As the church grew in size, Barnabas encouraged Saul to join him for an extensive teaching ministry
