in life and in death?
A. That I am not my own, but belong body and soul, in life and in death to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.
In the next message, we will see how Paul wrote an epistle with a profound take on what it is to suffer and what is the only comfort in life. According to the apostle, comfort, and salvation come only through trial and suffering. True happiness comes only to those who know sorrow.
