Did Jesus Come at the Right Time or Too Late?

Well, the obvious answer is that Jesus came at the right time and as Galatians 4:4 says, "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law". But what If the Lord came at the time the Serpent tempted Eve, what kind of humanity would there be? Or what if He came when Cain murdered Abel? Could hatred of one another be non-existent? Or how about before or after the flood in the time of Noah? Would there still be a fallen race?
